Time to start again!

•January 10, 2012 • Leave a Comment

So I’m gonna try and attempt to blog on one of my many blogs that I have started! –  But let me warn you, I’m not very good at this – so, please bear with me. I should be sleeping but I currently am not. I thought that maybe writing on here would be sufficient enough to try and lul my eyes to sleep. I also thought that maybe I would get bored of typing. So here it is…

Today was a pretty good day. I had work this morning, then after that I played Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 3 with my brother, then took a little nappy poo before going to band practice. Then at band practice we played “Cold Hearted Snake” by: Paula Abdul. It’s Awesome! I love the way we play it…

Anyway, I think I’m ready to move on from the ex… If you wanna know how hard it’s been. I have several posts about her on my tumblr. They’re just not specifying who she is or what she’s done. I want to respect her by not saying who she is or what she did. But she is a wonderful individual. It just didn’t work out even though I would have worked hard to make changes to make it work.

So yeah, there is a new interest, she’s cute and I’m not sure if I want to pursue her just yet. I’m thinkin’ about it. So this is what’s goin’ on in my head.

- Just let it happen if it happens.
- But if you don’t jump on the opportunity you may miss your shot.
- Trust God with the situation and pray about it.
- Talk to my guys about it.

Yeah, so those are a few things I am thinking about. I may wait till after our little planned evening that my community night men have planned for the laides. Or even ask her to be my date that night. Hopefully she can go. But anyway. I knew I was gonna get bored of typing so, I’m gonna go. Have a lovely evening/morning/afternoon whenever or where ever you are reading this!

Today I started my Tech Support job at Studio One Media. I am a fan of this company because it is small and has a ton of potential to grow and become known nation wide. I have yet to know exactly what my job description as a whole. But anyway, I figured i would leave a little mini blog for today sharing about my new job as well as to update you all on when I will be reconstructing my site to be more efficient and fitting to who I am and what I am trying to promote! Take care!

What should I write about?

•November 19, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Dear readers,

What should I write about? I know that I want to write about what ever I am feeling and thinking, but I know I want to write about more than one thing on a consistent basis.

Things I want to write about are:
- God, Jesus, Holy Spirt (and my relationship with the I Am of the Universe)
- Girlfriend
- Family
- Future (Dreams, Hopes, Desires)
- Reminisce on recent or distant past

I don’t know… Lemme know what you think?

By the way, I plan on making this as my webpage. As in jedprimero.com

Thanks and be blessed today! :)

Friend’s Power Hour

•September 27, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Hello everyone,

I have not posted anything lately because of the recent events: Jazz gig Thursday night, Manufactured Defects Show(my band) with Ezer and Burnin’ Phoeni (they are friend bands of ours) Friday night, North Chapel Youth Group and My friend’s Power Hour yesterday night til’ early this morning.

Thursday was a lot of fun. I played with my jazz pianist Bryce Budge. He’s such a talented musician. He plays the piano with his right hand and has an electronic midi keyboard on top of the piano and plays that with his left hand. And if you weren’t in the room or could only hear the band, it would sound like 3 different individuals; Drums, Bass and Piano with the addition of a singer. I got paid $25 that night so it wasn’t too bad! Money is always good! haha

Friday: I had my Geology lab and then I went home to pack up my drums into my suburban so that we could get my kit and Josh’s Avatar speaker cabinet and Mesa/Boogie Head over to Fountain Hills for our gig! The venue that we played at doubles for where the High School group meets. It’s got a sweet set up with two BagEnd speakers and two BagEnd Subs! Plus the mix down that Josh did was pretty awesome. But anyway I had some friends come to that show, including my parents, brother and his friends, best friends Kyle and Katrina that brought people i didn’t know and many others. I had such an amazing time with my friends and family even though we only played a short 6 song set. But that is quite alright. I still had a blast and was pleased at the turn out! Then later that night some of us went to the Native New Yorker and all had some 55 cent wings. After that Kyle and Katrina came over to my house and we watched Ghost of Girlfriend’s Past and it was a very cute movie! Then after that, we called it a night.

Yesterday: I had service at the Rock Garden, the name of the venue that doubles as the Youth Group room, with Josh, Jason(bass player), Tiffany (Wife of Josh), Clem (pastor) and Joey the only Youth group kid there! It was a lot of fun and we got to learn more about Jesus and delve more into the Good Samaritan story and the “hypocrisy” of religion or the church.

Later that night after I had helped Josh tear down the equipment I went to my friend John’s Power Hour and was his DD. It was a pretty good time and I enjoyed People watching and seeing how people would interact with the street preachers and the artists and musicians out there. I tried to make sure that the people that were drinking were being watched. But after all the festivities I took John home. He wasn’t feeling too good on the way back to his apartment and first threw up in a plastic bag that I had and then when he was pretty much done throwing up he forgot about the bag, dropped it and it spilled into my car and onto the floor of the right rear passenger seat where Katrina was sitting… and the rest is history. By the time I got home I had started to clean up the mess and vacuum up with Hoover!

So I went to bed at 6AM to wake up at noon today. And here I am! I still have to clean my room, do homework, go to a flag football game that I am in and possibly go to Praxis Church tonight. So yeah, still a busy busy day for me!

Well I am off to either lie in bed for an hour or so and then start homework and then the rest of the chain of events to follow! Thank you!

Special friend

•September 24, 2009 • Leave a Comment

So, I have just finished speaking with my friend. We are had a great conversation… I thought tonight that I was so cleaver coming up with a saying that went kinda like this, “So we’re on the same page. Same book. But different copies.” I thought it was cute and made sense and just rolled really well!

So the friend that I spoke with this evening is the woman that I am currently on hiatus with. She is a very special girl to me and we had decided that it was time to take a serious break from seeing each other, hanging out and doing the sort of thing that friends do when they hang out… And yeah there was some flirting, but we’ve decided that we both need to grow up a little bit more apart. I did in fact enjoy our conversation that we had this evening because we both felt the same thing. We both felt like we were the needy one, or the one who made the first move to talk to that person again. Because on previous occasions we have broken our word to each other and that is what began a vicious cycle or repetition of what people do when they are romantically involved. But we will not get into that because I want to respect the subject as well as respect myself and the privacy of my life. But don’t get me wrong, if you are a close friend of mine who is reading this, you can email me or call me and ask me to explain. But until that happens… I’m guessing it won’t. LOL

But moving forward, we had a very pleasant exchange in the form of written words, typed by a computer, sent to a server that contained both her and my digital information, so that the messages sent by the sender could be exchanged and completed. (Absolutely unnecessary description, but I liked it… I could have made it more politically correct, but it’s 3:10 in the morning and I am still not in bed.)

But as I have continually digressed because of my lack of attention span, I will leave you with this… Love prevails over all and shows itself in many different shapes and forms. Do not be blinded by what the world tells you love is, but just remember the source of true love is Jesus Christ and the life he lived, just to save us!

Be blessed and challenged my brothers and sisters

First Blog Post! Woohoo!

•September 23, 2009 • 1 Comment

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life. Why you ask? Well, to put it plainly, I am moving on from a significant other, the most recent bass player in my band has already begun moving slowly out of the band and many other things that I may or may not express in this here blog.

I am 21 years of age and I am looking for a new beginning in the life that God has given me. This song started playing and I decided to look for the lyrics. It’s the new Relient K single called, “Forget and Not Slow Down.”

Forget and Not Slow Down (Single)
By: Matt Thiessen of Relient K

How many times
Can I push it aside
Is it time I befriended all the ghosts of all the things that haunt me most
So they leave me alone
Move on with my life
Be certain the steps of left and right don’t fight the direction of upright

I’d rather forget and not slow down
Than gather regret for the things I can’t change now
If I become what I can’t accept
Resurrect the saint from within the wretch
Pour over me and wash my hands of it

It’s time to decide
Which is out of my mind
Cause it’ll be me unless I put some thoughts to rest and leave some faults behind
I’ll watch the glint in my eye
Shine off the spring in my step
And could be blinding depending on the amount of You that I reflect

Cause I could spend my life just trying to sift through
What I could’ve done better but what good do what ifs do
Oh oh
Oh oh
There’s something I should tell you now

That song is what I am feeling right now. I want to be positive and filled with joy, laughter and love for everything and everyone that I come in contact with.

On another note, I can’t wait to update this blog and make it legit and also use it to double as my website for my drumming and link it to my band page and other things! Well, I’m off and I look forward to writing in here again! Much love to you all and God Bless!

Signed,

Jed Primero
